Stories evolve.  When we first added this section to the website, the point was to communicate why we care about what we do – what brought us to this point and what keeps us here committed helping companies evolve by confronting and using their financials for decision making.

The answer has gotten shorter:  Belief.

We believe that companies must use financials for decision making.  We believe that financials must be reliable based on sound underlying processes and data.  We believe that people must engage in the improvement of the processes in which they are involved. We believe that data capture must be done with forethought about strategy and decisions that it should be supporting.   None of it is rocket science.  All of it is fundamental.   It merely requires thought, planning, achievable staged objectives, stakeholder involvement, staff engagement, and the ability to build momentum and get it done.

We believe that it needs to be done.

There is something powerful about being able to make a difference.  We believe we can.
